Accommodation in Poland is plentiful and available to suit all types of pockets from those on a very tight budget right up to travellers who want and can afford luxury. Here on Poland Travel Guide places to stay are shown in a simple format connected to the article about the city, town or village you wish to view the details of. In other words, all you have to do is click on the accommodation you are interested in and you will either be taken directly to their own website or a webpage on Poland Travel Guide showing further details.
We do show prices on places to stay providing they give us the information. However, this may not be up to date so please check with the accommodation itself. As we only charge accommodation providers a modest charge to advertise, there is no commission to pay for you the viewer. After finding something that seems to meet with your requirements, you can make the booking directly with the Hotel, Bed and Breakfast, Pension, Apartment, Holiday Villages, Camp Site, Farm Stay or Hostel.
I have now been travelling to Poland for the last eight years and have stayed in a range of different places on a tight accommodation budget using hostels, two/three star hotels, bed and breakfast and rented rooms. Most of the places I have stayed in have been acceptable, some have gone out of their way to make me welcome and provide me with the assistance to make my stay an enjoyable experience and for little cost compared to accommodation rates here in the United Kingdom.
For me, part of the point (and fun) of exploring a country such as Polska, is to try out the many varied accommodation types available in this European country. In fact, some of the best and funniest moments of a trip are when the owner or person at the reception can not speak any English and there is much pointing of the finger, or computer screen or map using every conceivable sign language known to man, as my Polish is non-existent! This is when Google translator comes in very handy and provides a laugh or two as the translation can throw up some hilarious differences between polish and English.
If you discover that one of our places to stay is no longer in business or has changed their name, please let us know so we can update the record.
This is something Poland Travel Guide is not covering yet. If you have any places for sale or longer term rent and would like to advertise with us, please contact us through our normal “Contacts Page”. We will be happy to help for a small fee.
